Industrial Site in Gatton Sold
A substantial industrial site with warehousing and office space at Gatton in the Lockyer Valley, west of Brisbane, has been sold by Ray White Commercial Toowoomba.
The approximately 6,000 sqm property at Lot 4, Industrial Road, Gatton, was sold for $650,000 to international oil and gasfield equipment supplier Mid Continent Equipment Australia Pty Ltd by Ray White Commercial Toowoomba’s Craig Bradley.
Craig Bradley said Mid Continent had been seeking a warehouse site in regional south-east Queensland with Gatton ideally meeting their business requirements.
“The recently vacated site featured a 720 sqm warehouse split over three separate areas,” he said.
“The property is a full drive through site with dual crossovers and it offers a large hardstand area.”
Mid Continent Equipment Australia has been supplying to the oil and gas drilling and mineral mining industry for the past 25 years.
“Mid Continent is mainly involved in the distribution of tubular products as well as equipment and spares,” Mr Bradley said. “Tubular products include pipe known as oil country tubular goods (OCTG) which are used to protect drilled wells. Equipment and spares include replacement parts and products such as pumps and engine parts used by drilling rigs; production equipment and accessories; valves and flow control products.”
