Graintec Scientific in Expansion Move
Leading Toowoomba company Graintec Scientific has purchased a warehouse/office complex in the Southgate Industrial Park in south-west Toowoomba through Ray White Commercial Toowoomba.
The company has moved to 10/493 South Street, Harristown, following a sales deal negotiated by Ray White Commercial Toowoomba’s Daniel McNamara.
Graintec Scientific were bursting at the seams in their leased premises late last year before they began to look for more suitable premises and turned to Daniel McNamara for assistance.
“We’d been in Anzac Avenue for seven years but needed more suitable space as a platform for growth into the future,” Graintec’s Managing Director Lucas Anstiss said.
“I’d dealt with Daniel previously and found him to be very eager to help and completely genuine. And it was the same in this search – he very patiently showed us a variety of properties and was always very frank about their suitability to our needs.”
Graintec eventually settled on Unit 10, 493 South St, in the Southgate complex which offered them the mix of office space and warehousing that they required.
“Daniel was excellent throughout the negotiations,” Mr Anstiss said. “There were some time constraints as we were finalising the contract and Daniel was really helpful and just did what needed to be done, which I really appreciated.”
After completing renovations to the building in late April, including a new purpose-built repair and calibration servicing area, Graintec Scientific have moved in and are reaping the benefits.
“The extra space allows us to be more efficient and ordered in our workflow which ultimately helps us deliver better value to our clients,” Mr Anstiss said.
Graintec Scientific is a specialist supplier of measurement and test equipment to the food and grain industries, with clients nationwide.
“Graintec’s purpose is to improve the safety, quality and security of Australia’s food supply,” Mr Anstiss said. “With the new premises we are able to serve more customers, more effectively. It’s been a great move.”
