St Vincent de Paul Comes to Newtown

St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland has leased a commercial outlet within the Newtown Shopping Centre in Toowoomba’s inner west for its latest ‘Vinnies’ shop in the city.

St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland has leased Shop 1B at 255 Herries Street, Newtown, in a deal negotiated by Craig Bradley of Ray White Commercial Toowoomba.

Craig Bradley said the tenancy was refurbished to offer customers a comfortable shopping experience, including a new suspended ceiling and air-conditioned floor area of more than 200 sqm and includes its own amenities.

“The outlet is located within the popular Newtown Shopping Centre including Spar Express, The Electronics Workshop, The Footy Barn, aquarium specialist Shrimplovers, Silver Spoon Indian Restaurant and a range of other surrounding businesses,” he said.

“The shopping centre is ideally located west of the city fringe and has plenty of on-site parking available.”

The St Vincent de Paul Society in Australia has more than 40,000 members and volunteers, who work hard to assist people in need and combat social injustice across Australia. Internationally, the Society operates in 149 countries and has over 950,000 members.

Vinnies shops are the number one destination for affordable and pre-loved items.
